The Adult Learning Program provides welcoming and supportive one-to-one and small group learning for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, math or computer skills.
We work with adults of all ages to help you reach your learning goals and move on to your next steps.
Ongoing Programs
These programs run all year. You can start at any time.
- Small groups and one-to-one tutoring based on your goals and interests based on your goals
- Computer Club: Informal space to get one-to-one help with your computer or smartphone.
- Preparation for the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) test. CAEC is the new High School Equivalency in Ontario.

CAEC Preparation Class
The Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) replaced the GED in 2024 as the official High School Equivalency in Ontario.
Join us for an instructor-led class covering all five subjects: Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies and Science.

Understanding Infographics
Graphs, charts, tables and diagrams are everywhere. Interpreting infographics is a critical skill for the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) and for everyday life.

Computer Basics
Are you new to computers? Join us for this group created especially for people with little or no experience with computers.

This course will cover the essentials of Microsoft Office.
Outlook: Manage your email, calendar, and contacts efficiently.

Who is eligible:
The program is open to anyone over 18 who lives in Ontario and has a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).
Preference will be given to those who have not completed High School.
