A voting member is committed to and supports the work of West Neighbourhood House.
Our members:
- Vote at the Annual General Meeting where they elect new Board of Directors
- Vote to approve financial statements at the Annual General Meeting
- Are eligible to be nominated to the Board of Directors (except for employees of West Neighbourhood House)
The Board of Directors is made up of volunteers who, as elected representatives of the membership, oversee the directions and workings of West Neighbourhood House for the benefit of the community.
We also keep voting members informed about what’s happening around the House and in the community through our newsletters, our Annual Report and other communication.
