The Older Adult Centre at West Neighbourhood House is currently offering the caregiver training and respite care series. The series provides helpful advice for both informal and family caregivers to manage and reduce stress, connect people in similar circumstances, and learn coping skills to face the challenges in their role.
In addition, we offer training and educational sessions with experienced professionals, on such topics as Brain Health, Alzheimer’s and other dementia, and more.
All sessions will be held in person at our 248 Ossington location or virtually through Zoom. Respite care will be available upon request at the Adult Day Services (ADS) or ADS@Home.
