The Reading Party will engage our community in monthly reading sessions on books pertaining to climate change and resilience. The goal is to encourage the joy of reading, while simultaneously promoting climate knowledge, sharing lived experiences, and empowering participants to explore community-driven solutions.
Each session will bring people to read the book of the month, in silence or in small groups. We feature a book of the month related to climate change, environmental justice, and community resilience. In smaller breakout groups or book talks, readers engage in discussions related to the book they are reading.
We welcome you to bring books, poems, or stories, that relate to the month’s theme. Additionally, we welcome you to read the featured book, other books, stories, or poems we will provide at the Reading Party.
The Reading Parties will begin with reading time that is followed by a group discussion and share. Refreshments will be served.
This event is open for the community and does not require registration. Contact
