West Neighbourhood House is looking for motivated youth who is in their last year of high school, finished it or are pursuing post-secondary education, to volunteer as a digital literacy tutor for seniors.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting seniors on acquiring digital literacy
Participate in online and/or in-person group activities
Qualifications:
high school, completed high school or pursuing post-secondary education.
Proficient in using online platforms, such as, Zoom, Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Interest in working with seniors
Patience and acceptance of other’s limitations
Able to work individually and as team
Responsible, reliable, and punctual
Able to volunteer between 2 to 4 hours in the afternoon per week
*West NH will confirm the community service hours required at the end of High School.
